Why the Ginkgo Leaf?

At The Mary Parrish Center, the whole person, like our logo the ginkgo leaf, is “a bearer of hope.” Ginkgo trees establish themselves easily, as they tolerate heat, salt, pollution, confined space, and even nuclear blasts. The survivors who come here are much like these trees, having survived unimaginable abuse, facing significant barriers, but resilient: still healing, growing and learning to thrive.

As a supporter of The Mary Parrish Center, you join us in being a “bearer of hope.” You share our stories, fund our programs, and create greater possibility. Together, we reflect a little more of the hope we believe is in our world.
