Add Purpose and Meaning to Your Life Everyday!
All volunteers at the MPC assist us in transforming the lives of domestic violence victims and the lives of their children. Volunteers who would like to participate in this life saving/changing work through direct interaction with our clients may do so by: greeting and offering assistance to our new clients with filling out our intake forms, preparing snacks for clients and or their children, watching children while their parent/s are being interviewed, helping a client find shelter, housing, employment, childcare, or other vital services, one on one mentoring with a client as she/he moves into a life of safety.
Volunteers who would like to help us with the general daily operations of the MPC may help with any or all of the following: answering phones, phone intakes, performing follow up calls, organizing the children's or adult's donation closet.
Volunteers who would like to help us with fundraising or grant writing would be very much welcomed and praised everyday not only by the MPC staff, but those we serve!
Volunteering at the MPC is a great opportunity for Senior's and Teens!
